birdhouse idea

My guy t.a.b. got this idea to make his own space age birdhouse after i was telling him about the birdhouses Benjamin Hubert makes: http://www.benjaminhubert.co.uk/

So, on out last trip to ikea we picked up this little ceramic kitchen wall container called ASKER:

They also have a hole in the bottom which somehow t.a.b. is going to fasten to the tree (nicely) and the hole shown will be where a little perch is created. We bought two small ones and a large. Will let you know how it goes!

Hey there apc! Good morning! It’s gonna be a doozy out there today… supposed to get up to 97. So I thought this would be a good day to finish up my project that I started about six months ago making magic with this bench my parents have been lugging around with them since the 70s. Here it is in all it’s beauty:

I’ve got one last coat of paint to put on it and I have to reupholster the seat with this Alexander Henry (Viceroy) fabric I found at Bolt:

I’ll post a pic as soon as it’s finished! Yay!
